The standard mileage rate for business driving is now at 36.5 cents per mile for 2002.  This is an increase of 2 cents.  The rate for medical travel and moving expenses is 13 cents per mile (up 1 cent).  The rate for charitable driving remains unchanged at 14 cents per mile.  Remember that you can also deduct the cost of parking and tolls when using the standard mileage rate.
